CEE GRADUATE SURVEY
In the current economic situation it is crucial to ensure that every investment is made with best possible ROI rate, whether it is in marketing, organizational or people development or recruitment. Therefore, Hudson decided to research a couple of essential issues regarding one of currently most attractive segments of employees –
Graduates.
Graduates are a first choice when it comes to recruiting new employees in a large number of companies which are large, have a substantial number of specialist positions and have large rotation of junior-level employees in their model. They are a mobile and self-conscious group, which has its own preferences regarding who they want
to work with and on what conditions.
We decided to research the following areas:
- Employers in their efforts to attract Candidates use a multitude of channels while only few remain
efficient - which channels are these? - Some motivators used by employers are more attractive for Graduates - which motivators ?
- Graduates have certain plans towards their development and engagement with their first employer - what
are those plans?
The research sample was 600 graduates, approached through various online channels. The research tool was an
online questionnaire, in 4 languages. The research was conducted in the period of July – September 2009 in Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine.
