Wi-Fi possibilities in Prague and Bratislava show rapid growth, though network security continues to be inadequate

Ernst & Young’s fifth annual survey on wireless network security has shown that the number of access points in downtown Prague has almost doubled in the past year to 3,290. The number of users who have password protected their network has also increased. In this respect, though, Prague – with 73% of access points secured – and Bratislava, with 70%, still lag behind the European average of 75%.
