Telecoms operators face a difficult task convincing business customers that they can be trusted providers of information and communication technology (ICT) services. Fifty-six percent of respondents believe that the operators should stick to their core business, rather than trying to meet all requirements of corporate customers, according to a global survey of over 350 senior IT and procurement managers across industries, conducted by Ernst & Young in conjunction with the Economist Intelligence Unit. The survey examined whether telecoms operators can offer new services to business customers.
