Interview with Andrea Colantoni (Country Manager of Hudson Czech & Slovak Republic) on doing business in the Czech Republic

Andrea recently became the new Country Manager of Hudson for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has decades of experience in the field of Executive Search and Recruitment. Previously, he has worked in several large retained Search Firms in various Consulting and Management roles. Most recently, he was running the Czech office of an international recruitment network. Andrea has conducted assignment in industries such as: automotive, manufacturing, real estate, energy and utilities, telecommunications and IT, services, consumer goods, and medical devices. Functionally, these assignments have included all senior management positions. Andrea has personally conducted searches in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Poland and Romania.

3) It has been often said that in some ways there was a positive effect on companies providing HR services during the crisis. How has been your company effected?

4) Does Hudson provide any unique services in comparison with the competitors on the Czech market?

5) Where do you see the comparative advantage of the Czech Republic in the perspective of doing business here? What do you personally appreciate most about doing business here?

6) In which areas do you think the Czech Republic should be improved? What message would you address to the government for instance?
