Joseph Wright, Corporate Senior Vicepresident, evaluated the Ostrava facility performance sententiously: “The decision to build our European production base in Ostrava was absolutely right. Thanks to all employees for their personal effort that contributed to make this important investment successful.”Briggs&Stratton is the world biggest manufacturer of small gasoline engines. The facility in industrial zone Ostrava – Hrabova launched production in December 2006 ant it delivers engines to all important producers of garden equipment (OEMs) in Europe. The own lawn mower production extended the product range in 2009.
