For my client, company that delivers IT solutions used worldwide, I am looking for Application Support Specialist.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and reporting on service levels for applications/services delegated by Team Leader
Log-in requests from help desk and users, award requests with priorities according to agreed criteria, current needs, and SLA
Support implementations to ensure smooth application/system operation
Investigate problems and requests and determine appropriate actions
Cooperate with staff responsible for the system development to avoid known problems
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of UNIX like systems (Solaris, AIX,HP-UX, etc)
DBA skills (MS SQL, Informix, Oracle, Sybase, etc.)
Skills in programming in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Scripting languages (Perl, Shall, etc.)
Networking basic knowledge
University Degree, IT related subject preferably
Experience as Super User, Technical Operator, Servise Desk Agent, Technical Trainer are welcome
Be familiar with web base applications is an advantage.
