Most of the central and eastern European countries have significant experience of nuclear energy and the extent to which they are able to capitalize on this experience and their strategic geographical position will influence future investment decisions in Europe’s power generation mix. In the Czech Republic the share of nuclear energy in electricity generation was 30.2 percent in 2007.
