The Senior solution engineer is focused on Buildmanagement, release management, patches, HW&OS, virtualization, security, backup/restore and all ITIL process mainly for the Virtualized environments.
Analyzes problems and incidents on 3rd level of support
Actively propose service improvements
Manages and checks the problem solving third parties
Coordination of major changes within the area of responsibility
Coordinate and plan infra related upgrades and patches
Defines the standards for procedures describing the existing situation of HW&OS as well contributes on preparation of future infrastructure roadmaps
Test software and infrastructure components in cooperation with other departments to cover complexity of infrastructure within all tests
Prepares detailed level designs and work instructions within regional IT
Education: University
Experience: above 5 years
English: Advanced
VMWare (4.x, 5.x)
HW and tooling
Linux/windows (red hat, windows 2008)
Backup and restore products (symantec)
