Almost half (45%) of businesses have started to prepare for the new civil code - Time and resources needed is biggest concern for implementation - Political debate about postponement causes uncertainty - With almost a year before the new Civil Code comes into effect, close to half of Czech businesses (45%) have already taken steps to prepare for changes in their documents (such as standard contracts) and processes, according to a recent survey by law firm CMS Cameron McKenna among users of professional legal services in the Czech Republic.

Two thirds of executives of banks operating in Central and Eastern Europe said the economic situation in the banking market in 2012 worsened.

KPMG Česká republika would like to inform about the results of the current survey Global Assignment Policies and Practices 2012. 72 percent of global companies suggest the main objective of international assignment programs is to business objectives and strategy. In recent years there is also an increasing role of these programs to gain a competitive advantage in the battle for talent. Next to motivating conditions some benefits to family members are provided, e. g. visas or cultural integration courses, are applied to facilitate the departure of workers. On the other hand, companies are carefully watching both direct and indirect costs per employee. A still neglected area stays the care of outcoming employees after their return to home country. As it is often not sufficient, 47 percent of companies lose up to ten percent of internship subscribers within one year after the end of the stay abroad. Davos/Prague, 30 January 2013 – According to the Deloitte Millennial Survey, 78 percent of the world's future business leaders believe innovation is essential for business growth. However, as the economic crisis enters its sixth year, only one-quarter (26 percent) of Millennials feel that current business leaders are doing enough to encourage practices that foster innovation. The main obstacle that prevents companies from being innovative is the lack of funding or investment. Deloitte surveyed close to 5,000 Millennials from 18 countries, including European countries. When gauging the perception among future leaders about innovation and its impact on society, 84 percent say business innovations have a positive impact on society, and 65 percent feel their own company's activities benefit society in some way.

AVG Technologies study reveals half of adults believe social media has eroded their privacy in the workplace.

Hays Czech Republic did a research among candidates with the focus on finding their opinion on professional social networks, mostly the usage of LinkedIn. 500 respondents participated in the research.
