Vodafone became a partner of 48th International Film Festival Karlovy Vary. Both entities continue in more than six years long cooperation. This year Vodafone will allow visitors to book tickets through SMS and practical mobile applications that will not only book tickets but alwo browse the festival catalog or build your own program.

Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, announced the release of the industry's first software defined networking (SDN)- and network functions virtualization (NFV)-based virtual family solution (vFamily), launching the residential services of telecom operators into the era of SDN. Based on the Huawei software-defined broadband network gateway (BNG) platform, this innovative solution enables telecom operators to provide residents with virtual residential gateway (vRGW) and virtual set top box (vSTB) services over the broadband network. This reduces the cost of providing family video services, simplifies terminal maintenance and management, improves family service experience, enhances telecom operators' innovation in service development, and shortens the time to market (TTM) of new services.

To switch from a car to a bike is what thousands of employees around the Czech Republic will choose during the month of May. Bike to work competition will be organized in eleven cities: Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzen, Liberec, Usti nad Labem, Pardubice, Jihlava, Jablonec nad Nisou, Uherske Hradiste and Olomouc. Even outside of the organized cities anybody can join. The only rule for entry is to have a team between two to five members. Initiative is supported by Vodafone.
