The international law offices of bpv BRAUN PARTNERS, operating on the Czech and Slovak markets, have added new talent. As of November 1, 2017, three new attorneys are joining the real estate law and mergers & acquisitions teams: Mgr. Gabriela Porupková, JUDr. Miroslav Dudek, and Mgr. Ing. Pavlína Tejralová, all of whom worked in an international law firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe.
Mgr. Gabriela Porupková, an attorney with 13 years of experience, almost eight of which she spent at Schönherr, has joined bpv BRAUN PARTNERS as the newest partner. In her new position she will continue focusing on real estate law, corporate law, and M&A. Gabriela graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno, and also completed a study abroad program at the University of Vienna. Gabriela is recommended by Chambers Europe for real estate law. She speaks Czech, English and German. JUDr. Miroslav Dudek, who worked at Schönherr for nearly nine years, joins bpv BRAUN PARTNERS as a lead attorney. He will continue working primarily in real estate law, construction law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law. Miroslav graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, and completed a study abroad program at the Faculty of Law at the Technical University in Dresden. Miroslav is recommended by Chambers Europe for real estate law. He speaks Czech, English and German. The final addition to the real estate team is Mgr. Ing. Pavlína Tejralová, who has specialized in real estate law since the beginning of her career, as well as corporate law and M&A. Clients appreciate Pavlína’s excellent business sense in transactions, which comes as a result of her education in economics. Pavlína graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno and the University of Economics, Prague. She speaks Czech and English.
Last year bpv BRAUN PARTNERS and its alliance bpv LEGAL, active in Central Europe, celebrated their tenth anniversary. Welcoming new attorneys further cements their rising position on the Czech legal market. Advice on real estate law and construction law, provided by Mgr. Jiří Bárta, LL.M., partner at bpv BRAUN PARTNERS, is one of the firm’s fastest growing key practice areas, in addition to project financing and advisory services in transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and the energy sector.
“We are delighted that Gabriela and her team have joined us. They are highly experienced attorneys with an excellent track record of transactions, some of the most significant on the market, and have been highly ranked by international ratings agencies, but even more importantly, by their clients. I am certain that our new colleagues will be a major asset for developing our real estate and transactional practice, as well as balancing out our team on a personal level. I personally appreciate their excellent German,” explains managing partner Arthur Braun, M.A.
The added legal expertise in real estate fits in perfectly with the bpv BRAUN PARTNERS philosophy of providing comprehensive legal and tax services to clients. A wide international and Czech client base allows bpv BRAUN PARTNERS to offer a number of synergic effects, such as combined service portfolios in transactions, real estate, financing and energy.
“We have been working in real estate law for many years, during which time we have obtained valuable experience and taken part in a number of important international and local real estate projects and transactions. I see our work at bpv BRAUN PARTNERS as a new challenge. I hope we will make a strong contribution to the team on a professional and personal level,” adds Gabriela Porupková.
bpv BRAUN PARTNERS has long ranked high on the Legal 500. Gabriela and Miroslav will also improve the firm’s ranking by Chambers Europe, where both attorneys are ranked in the individual categories for real estate law.
