Clifford Chance has provided legal advisory services to Československá obchodní banka, a. s. in connection with the financing of the acquisition of GASTRO-MENU EXPRESS a.s., a transaction strengthening Oriens' position in the food and retail market.
GASTRO-MENU EXPRESS a.s., founded in 1998, specializes in the production of gourmet products and their subsequent distribution to retail chains and the retail network. Oriens is an independent privately-owned holding, with a focus on private equity investments in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Slovakia.
The Clifford Chance team was expertly led by Associate Bára Mika and supervised by Partner Miloš Felgr. The core team also included Junior Lawyer Tomáš Kubala and Paralegal Radek Sikora.
