Clifford Chance has advised KKCG Technology, an ICT pillar of KKCG Group, on complete refinancing of its existing bank indebtedness and further recapitalization of the group members around Europe.
Clifford Chance team was coordinating legal counsels from Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Sweden and Switzerland in the process and together with them provided the client with complex support in respect of negotiating the main documents and retaking security in the respective jurisdictions. The transaction formed part of the company’s complex strategy of development of investments, thus enabling further growth of the entire group, enhancing further cooperation with the club of major Czech banks at the same time.
KKCG Technology pillar consists of two major brands, Aricoma and Qinshift. It forms the largest Information and Communications Technology (ICT) holding in the Czech Republic. It provides a wide range of services, starting with the design of ICT architecture, through infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services and the implementation of corporate applications, up to the development of custom comprehensive software solutions and outsourcing.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Counsel Dominik Vojta and supervised by Partner Miloš Felgr. The core team in Prague further consisted of Junior Lawyer Tomáš Kubala and Slovak desk members Senior Lawyer Stanislav Holec and Junior Lawyer Lukas Ljubovič.
