Deloitte has four new partners

4.06.2019
Company: Deloitte

A senior lawyer Petr Syrovátko joins the law firm Deloitte Legal. He will strengthen and lead the civil litigation team formed around Tomasz Heczko until now. He will also focus on cooperation with German and Austrian clients of the firm.

Petr Syrovátko will lead projects related to the provision of legal services in domestic and international commercial disputes and arbitrations, including alternative dispute resolution.

“With Petr coming along, a new chapter in dispute agenda of Deloitte Legal opens and our strategic orientation on German-speaking clients substantially strengthens. Petr brings many years of experience, excellent legal erudition and a number of very interesting opportunities for developing the firm,” says Jan Spáčil, the managing partner of Deloitte Legal.

“Personally, I am very pleased that Petr is joining right now – at the time of the dramatic development and growth of our office – and thus he can become an integral part of the exciting story of Deloitte Legal,” adds Jan Kotous, a partner at Deloitte Legal.

Petr Syrovátko graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and Universität Passau in Germany. In addition to his primary specialisation, he also acts as an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic and an arbitrator of the International Arbitration Court of the Czech Moravian Commodity Exchange.

During his practice, Petr has also gained vast experience in providing legal services in regulated industries and representing clients in insolvency proceedings or specific administrative processes according to specific statutory requirements. He focuses on serving clients operating in the banking, mechanical engineering and retail industries.
