Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, advised Czech real estate developer Sebre on the sale of the DRN building to KGAL Investment Management, a German investment and asset management company. This is KGAL’s first investment in the Czech Republic. The sale represents one of the highest yield real estate deals in the prime office segment in Central and Eastern Europe.
The multi-purpose building, designed by architect Stanislav Fiala and completed in 2017, is located in the heart of Prague. It features prime offices, shops, a gallery and two restaurants on four underground and eight aboveground floors. It is considered one of the most impressive architectural achievements in Prague in recent years.
Dentons also advised Sebre on the leasing of the entire building, including on lease for the first WeWork co-working space in the Czech Republic.
Partner Jiří Stržínek, Co-head of the Real Estate practice in Prague, led the Dentons team, which consisted of associates Filip Svoboda and Filip Spina.
