DLA Piper moves into new offices

20.07.2017
Company: DLA Piper Prague LLP

The global law firm DLA Piper, whose Prague branch has been operating on the Czech market for nearly twenty-five years, is changing its address. Newly, it will be located in a renovated historic building on the corner of Na Příkopě and Panská Street in the very centre of the Prague capital. The project called Na Příkopě 14 has received a number of awards that confirm the excellent reputation of this building and quality of the whole reconstruction.

DLA Piper will occupy first class office space on the 6th floor of the building. The Na Příkopě 14 is a joint venture project of Lordship and Immofinanz companies and is a successful example of existing buildings renovation. In the past, the project was awarded the Leed Gold Certificate from the US Green Building Council. The original house is from 1933 and its architect was Bedřich Beudlmayer.

“DLA Piper is one of the largest global law firms in the world, and we therefore appreciate that our new home in the Czech Republic will be such a prestigious address and a building fully tailored to specific requirements of our company. This building provides the latest and modern equipment and fits perfectly into the unique DLA Piper style that is recognizable in all our offices around the world. The relocation of DLA Piper's headquarters is primarily a result of the growth of a Prague branch,” says Miroslav Dubovský, Country Managing Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial Practice of Prague's DLA Piper office.

The entire renovation was designed to provide maximum flexibility of individual dispositions, a high standard of all equipment and absolute comfort for all tenants. “Moving into this building will increase comfort for our clients. It combines the advantages of a location in the city centre, prestige, functionality and cosiness, but also provides all the necessary services,” adds Miroslav Dubovský.
