On 1 June 2017, Jiří Mačát became an attorney-at-law at Dvořák Hager & Partners in Prague. Jiří has worked at our firm since 2014 and this past April successfully passed the bar exam.
In his practice, Jiří focuses on investment fund and capital markets law, corporate law, M&A, administrative law and litigation. He has also participated in several projects for the creation and transformation of fund structures.
Jiří graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. Besides Czech, he speaks fluent English.
There was also a June 1st promotion in the Bratislava office, where Tomáš Richter Urban was named a senior attorney.
In his practice, Tomáš focuses in particular on private equity, banking & finance, project finance, PPP and public procurement, business contracts and M&A transactions. He has worked in our firm since 2016, having earlier worked as a lawyer at Čechová & Partners, and prior to that at Clifford Chance and Balcar Polanský Eversheds. He was also seconded to the Tyco International concern as regional counsel for Eastern Europe.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, Tomáš also studied at the School of Law, University of Limerick in Ireland and completed a course in United States Law and Dispute Resolution organised by the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
