Eversheds Sutherland attorneys advised Polish fund EQUES Fotovoltaica in the sale of five solar parks to a Czech investor

Eversheds Sutherland provided legal advice to Polish fund EQUES Fotovoltaika in the sale of five local solar parks to Czech investment group Jufa. The firm's assistance consisted in the negotiation of contractual documentation, advisory in the termination of existing financing and transaction closing.
The sale involved photovoltaic power plants in Čenkov in the Tábor region, in Kramolí in the České Budějovice region, near the village of Petkovy in Mladá Boleslav and two other smaller power plants with a total output of 12 megawatts. The total value of the transaction, including bank financing, reached approximately one billion Czech crowns.
The transaction on the sell side was led by a legal team headed by partner Veronika Odrobinová and senior associate Vojtěch Faltus.
Odrobinová and Faltus have provided the client with comprehensive legal advice since it first started investing in the Czech Republic, from legal due diligence, consultancy in negotiating transaction documentation and acquisition financing, to company transformations and subsequent licensing proceedings before the Energy Regulatory Office.
