The Prague office of Eversheds Sutherland has appointed a new principal associate Vojtěch Faltus, who has been working in the law firm since 2015 and in his legal practice focuses mainly on the area of regulation and litigation.
Vojtěch Faltus represents important clients especially in the field of construction, energy and real estate development. This year, among other things, he represented a client at an oral hearing before the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. The case concerned the application of European Union law in the field of gambling. He has also successfully represented clients before the Czech Supreme Administrative Court.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno and also studied at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius. Since 2013, he has been acting as an arbitrator in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In addition to Czech, he is fluent in English.

Petra Chloubová also joined Eversheds Sutherland in the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, she worked as Marketing Director at a foreign investment company. She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, majoring in business economics and financial management.
