How next-gen hospital devices can alleviate clinician burnout

Company: BD

While the healthcare industry continues to face issues with burnout and increased turnover rates among clinicians, BD Chairman, CEO and President Tom Polen believes technology can play a major role in alleviating some of the added burden clinicians face when managing patient data and devices day to day.

At the HLTH 2022 conference, Tom shared his perspective on how the next generation of devices must be integrated and autonomous, so as to reduce the number of mundane tasks required by already overburdened clinicians. Only then can our frontline workers focus more on what matters most to them – delivering care to patients.
