Is it true that dynamic organisation development and a fragmented structure have to be always associated with organizational chaos?

28.08.2017
Company: enxoo s.r.o.

Fast-growing companies that have the additional challenge of geographic dispersion, may face difficulties when it comes to personnel and data organization. Assigning personal development objectives to employees without a holistic vision of the organization’s objective makes it almost impossible to do it right. How can you effectively manage a business in the face of a rapidly changing reality when data is not collated in one place?

The Marketing Investment Group faced these challenges. The Marketing Investment Group is a dynamically developing organization active in the footwear and clothing market, managing 250 retail stores throughout Poland. In a company with a distributed structure, efficient flow of information between employees is a sizeable challenge. When information is disparate , it becomes  harder to make the correct conclusions, which as a result makes effective management more difficult. The nature of the industry meant it was necessary to consolidate employee data in one place, accessible via desktop or mobile devices. The data consisted of employee’s competencies, their required knowledge and their personal development plan.  MIG needed a solution that would, above all, be secure and stable.

The need to efficiently organize people’s work and to assign development objectives that are coherent with the company strategy is one thing, but there were also other important aspects when selecting the new platform. These important aspects included motivation and commitment to customer service – and general awareness of individuals’ contribution to sales. After reviewing the market offerings, Marketing Investment Group has decided to work with enxoo, to implement skilo, a system built on the reputable Salesforce platform.

Check out the video interview with the MIG management and find out how skilo was able to meet the demands that the company had.
