A new hotel with a laid-back design is set to open on 6 July 2018 in central Leipzig. The grand opening special can be booked until 31 July 2018.
The newest hotel in Leipzig’s old town is a city in itself: a colourful potpourri, uniquely exciting, with lots of hidden corners to discover, playful yet pragmatic.
"Here chandeliers meet industrial design, we’ve got Viennese coffeehouse culture and local craft beer, high-speed WiFi and porch swings, box spring beds and a bakery-style breakfast," says Thomas Heilig, General Manager of Vienna House Easy Leipzig. "We want the hotel to be a meeting place where locals and guests come together. A place where you can start up a conversation, share experiences, surf the web at the large co-working table or taste your way through the large selection of strudels with friends."
For the period from 6 July through 12 August, single rooms are available starting at EUR 79, doubles starting at EUR 89 when booking through www.viennahouse.com. The "It’s so easy to fall in love" offer includes a delicious bakery-style breakfast, weather permitting on the terrace, free high-speed WiFi and a mobile concierge for various digital services. The offer can be booked until 31 July 2018.
The 205 rooms, including eleven suites and six family rooms, are a cosy place of refuge after an eventful tour through the city. Soft fabrics, fresh colours, comfortable beds and cosy chairs are accompanied by Leipzig-inspired wall decorations and carpet motifs. Guests can choose their own pillows, books and plants to take to their room to style it according to their personal tastes. For sports and exercise, jogging options await outdoors while the in-house gym offers guests a good workout with views over the city.
The spacious lobby serves local products like craft beer from Leipzig as well as typically Viennese classics such as open dark rye sandwiches. Guests can choose to enjoy their food and drinks in a sofa corner, at the bar table or the traditional sit-down way. Thanks to the open lobby concept, all areas of the reception, breakfast restaurant, bar and café flow into each other. Weather permitting, the interior courtyard is open with its colourful seating and pond. Alternatively, snacks and drinks, as well as any travel needs that were left at home, can be purchased at the little shop in the lobby.
Creative bars and pubs, a lively student scene, countless restaurants, a neverending variety of cultural offerings, trendy shops, elegant shopping passages and cool clubs set the tone in Leipzig. The best way to explore this diverse city is with one of the hotel’s free rental bikes.
