Miroslav Svoboda, Senior Partner in the Tax and Legal function, will assume the position of Country Leader on 1 June 2022, replacing Diana Rádl Rogerová, who has been executing this function since 2016.
“My goal was to strategically develop the business, as well as help transform Deloitte into a technological firm, which would set trends in the entire segment. I consider this mission successfully accomplished. Our business is growing at a double-digit rate, we successfully got through the more than two-year pandemic period and further strengthened our position on the market. I am also very happy about our significant shift in the area of technologies and digitalisation not only inside the firm, but also in what we can offer our clients,” says Diana Rádl Rogerová and continues: “Personally, I consider it important that we went even further in our commitment, having invested finances, capacity as well as our know-how in a number of public-service and non-profit activities, which help with the digitalisation of the state and its services as well as with the transformation of our country in a modern educational economy. My successor is now facing difficult challenges in terms of navigating our business through the uncertain waters of the turbulent geopolitical and economic situation. Given Mirek’s experience, I’m sure he will lead Deloitte successfully."
“My vision of Deloitte is that of an “accelerator” of knowledge and innovations, leaving a footprint in all areas of its engagement – audit, tax, legal, as well as financial, technological and risk management advisory. Our priority is to use the potential of the connection of the best people and technologies for the benefit of our clients and the company. I believe that big results comprise of many partial ones and it is important how they are interconnected; sadly, we had to be reminded of that by the current economic and geopolitical situation,” says Miroslav Svoboda, the new Country Leader of Deloitte Czech Republic, and adds: “We are facing big issues, such as sustainability, energy resources, supply chains and the increase in prices, digital economy, health, safety – all this is connected and Deloitte wants to and will play a significant role regarding these issues.”
