Prague Airport Introduces New 4-Day-Parking Price

Effective November, Prague Airport offers a favourable price for four-day parking as part of the Aeroparking service, targeting passengers travelling abroad for short trips, such as the ever-popular Euro weekends.

With online reservations via www.aeroparking.cz, passengers will pay CZK 590 for four days of parking at Václav Havel Airport Prague under the Aeroparking service. Parking at this price will be available in the PD HOLIDAY covered parking building, where cars will be kept under cover and safe for the entire time of the absence of their owners, as the whole area is CCTV-monitored.

“We are trying to meet the needs of customers who wish to enjoy long weekends or make short business trips during the autumn and winter months,” Vladimír Procházka, Prague Airport Parking Manager, said. According to Czech Statistical Office findings, the number of such travellers has been growing. In the second quarter of 2017, the year-on-year growth of passengers making short trips from the Czech Republic has increased by more than one hundred thousand.

During the first half of 2017, based on World Tourism Organization’s statistical analysis, European travellers showed an increased interest in Spain (+ 12% YOY) and Great Britain (11% increase). Passengers travelling from Václav Havel Airport Prague are also interested in flights to destinations in Spain, as shown by the added connections on routes to Madrid and Barcelona, and Great Britain, where the greatest number of flights from Václav Havel Airport Prague, namely 15, will head during this winter schedule.

Aeroparking also offers interesting options for those who are going away on holiday. The PD HOLIDAY parking building offers eight-day parking for CZK 790 when reserved online at the www.aeroparking.cz website. “Even though the parking building is within walking distance of the Terminals, both parking products include non-stop shuttle transport to the airport Terminals, provided on making a phone call,” added Vladimír Procházka.

Airport visitors who spend just a few hours there can continue using the favourable hourly rates at the PC COMFORT parking building by Terminal 1 or the outside PB ECONOMY parking area by Terminal 2 at CZK 50 an hour.
As part of the Aeroparking service, Prague Airport offers a total of three covered parking areas in the close vicinity of the terminal buildings. Parking there is very comfortable and, compared to other more remote parking areas, allows passengers to save both time and money.
