Telekom restructures in Czech Republic and Slovakia
Company: T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.
Significant changes in the organisational structure and management model will come into effect at T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom today (March 1).
An important element of these changes is the abandonment of the current business model of splitting activities into separate B2C and B2B divisions.
Another is the creation of a new Division of Customer Experience and Transformation to connect know-how and the knowledge of several federal-level experts. It will be headed by Petr Skodny, currently the chief executive of B2B and ICT for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Each country will have a separate Commercial Division focusing on pricing, sales, customer support, marketing and external communications. Newly covering both B2C and B2B areas, they will be headed in the Czech Republic by Juraj Bóna (until now director of B2C and FMC) and in Slovakia by Dusan Svalek (executive director of the residential segment of TMCZ and ST). Meanwhile, other divisions will continue to focus on current technology, finance, HR, legal and corporate affairs at the federal level.
Commenting on his plans, Bóna said: “I am proud of the success achieved in recent years by T-Mobile, especially in the field of attractive offers of fixed and mobile services. We want to build on these solid foundations Our goal is to offer the fastest mobile and fixed internet to most Czech households and to meet all the essential requirements that customers can have of a modern telecom operator”.
José Perdomo Lorenzo, CEO of TMCZ and Slovak Telekom, added: “Reorganisation at the highest level has a single goal – to better serve customers. We want every effort to focus on their needs and to strengthen federal-level know-how in accessing all services and products. The goal of creating the Commercial Divisions is to be in closer contact with customers in the market and to accelerate the path to digitisation”.
