The RSBC investment group acquires the leading European arms producer, the Austrian STEYR ARMS, into its portfolio

The transaction was closed on April 23, 2024. The RSBC Group takes over 100% of STEYR ARMS from the previous owner, SMH Holding GmbH. Thanks to this, RSBC will be able to fully focus on the strategic development of STEYR ARMS, especially with an emphasis on strengthening the position in foreign markets.
STEYR ARMS is a globally operating arms manufacturer with a tradition dating back to 1864. STEYR ARMS has more than 200 employees in Austria and the USA. The company's sales for 2023 exceeded EUR 45 million. STEYR ARMS is a major global supplier of firearms for police and military professionals, as well as hunting rifles (STEYR Mannlicher). The flagship of production is the Steyr AUG, which is used by more than twenty armies and a number of special police units.
