The University of New York in Prague and the UNYP Student Council are bringing back the highprofile TEDx event to UNYP on Saturday, November 11th. Following last year’s success with speakers such as Yemi A.D., Victoria Velvet and Jan Mühlfeit, TEDx is returning back to the University of New York in Prague, Londýnská 41. The event will be comprised of three separate live speaking sessions with a limit to one session per person and open seating for the live streaming in the building for all guests of all sessions. The live streaming is a benefit to all individuals unable to get a ticket to one of the live sessions in the UNYP Auditorium. All guests will be welcome to mingle with speakers after each session ends.
This year is no different in terms of amazing speakers including the globally known adventurer Aron Anderson, the first person in a wheelchair to have climbed the Kebnekaise and Kilimanjaro, he’s swum 37 kilometers across the Sea of Åland, arm-biked from Malmö to Paris and skied 300 kilometers across Antarctica to the South Pole – among many other adventures.
TEDxUNYP 2017 is also proud to welcome Pietro Boselli, known the world over for being “The World’s Hottest Math Professor.” He has been the face of Emporio Armani and has worked with Moschino, Estée Lauder, Equinox, Dsquared2, GQ, Vogue, Attitude while also receiving his Ph.D. and maintaining his lecturing position at University College London.
On the flip side of Fashion, our special guest Kamila Boudová, fashion revolutionary will come from Paris to discuss the greener side of fashion and how you can use fashion to cool the planet!

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share
a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and
connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The
TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
(Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years
ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world's
leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many of these talks are then made available, free, at TED.com.
TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe
Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sal Khan and Daniel Kahneman.
