Vegetables on Mars? Jan Lukačevič together with Vodafone and the Czech University of Life Sciences represent a unique scientific project.

Company: Vodafone Czech Republic a.s.

A unique laboratory was established at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague's Suchdol, which will make it possible to grow crops using aeroponic technology. Under conditions simulating life on Mars, a team of biologists and IT specialists led by Jan Lukačevič will try to do so. The project is part of the Vodafone # Jet Platform, which gives young people the opportunity to experience the potential work of the future. All of this using the narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) of the Vodafone network, enabling smart devices to be connected.
