Wealth without Ownership: Deloitte’s New Study on the Sharing Economy

The volume of the sharing economy in the Czech Republic could reach almost CZK 60 billion, ie 1.19% of GDP. According to Deloitte’s analysts, however, the current volume of the sharing economy in the Czech Republic is thirty times lower. The sharing economy currently represents solely 0.02% - 0.04% of the Czech market, ie roughly CZK 0.9 billion – CZK 2 billion. The greatest potential industries for the sharing economy are transportation, accommodation and financial services.
