Weinhold Legal awarded in the Impact Deal of the Year category of the Czech Venture Capital Awards 2022

At the Czech Venture Capital Awards 2022, we were delighted to receive the Impact Deal of the Year award for the Deafcom transaction (Tilia Impact Ventures). Deafcom addresses the problem of over 7,5 million deaf people who cannot get around without a sign language interpreter, as Deafcom is behind the development of software to provide online interpretation and transcription of the spoken word. The service is also available in Poland, Croatia and Slovakia, in addition to the Czech Republic, where it is used, for example, by Česká spořitelna, Raiffeisenbank and the municipal authorities in Prague.
Michal Przeczek, a member of the transaction team, accepted the award on behalf of Weinhold Legal.
