You should enjoy doing the following
- Manage and improve existing supplier relations focused on SQC (Supply, Quality and Cost)
- Source and select new suppliers
- Negotiate terms, conditions and contracts with assigned suppliers
- Monitor pricing against best-in-class benchmarks and/or cost models, and manage suppliers accordingly
- Participate in cross-functional teams in developing and implementing sourcing strategies
Your job might be a bit harder without having these
- Technical background, University degree preferred (Mechanical, Electrical engineering) would be a great asset
- Experience with cables, PSU (Power Supply Unit) and other electrical components is an advantage
- Good knowledge of aluminum – the material, commodity trading, market, production, prices is an also an advantage
- Analytical, systematic and practical approach
- Commercial knowledge, understanding of price calculations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage multiple internal and external interfaces
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Good knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Willing to travel (driver's license B)
