Regional Corporate Travel Operations Lead – Europe, Middle East, Africa
Provide operational support of Global Travel initiatives and strategies across the designated geography.
Oversight of the delivery of business travel services in the region including management of the travel management company.
Responsible for client facing activities, building relationships with key regional stakeholders and business divisions.
Collect regular feedback from stakeholders on business requirements and unique regional/local needs to provide to appropriate Category team members.
Identify transactional efficiencies, operational opportunities and process improvements in alignment with global operational and commercial strategies.
Ensure required operational and controls processes are followed across the designated geography.
Responsible for implementation of new agreements/ initiatives/ products, program administration, and customer support.
Drive adoption and utilization of negotiated travel programs and the online booking tool within the region – communicating opportunities for savings to key stakeholders.
Your profile
Strong understanding of the Global Business Travel industry, including working knowledge of business travel service delivery, technology, and processes.
5 years Travel Operations experience desired.
Proven ability to work cross functionally in a global, multicultural environment to drive Global Travel Program success
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills, combined with a high level of initiative and ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment. Flexible, able to meet changing requirements and priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills – multi-lingual a plus. Able to simplify complex concepts into layman’s terms for greater stakeholder understanding.
Creative problem solver - able to propose solutions which challenge the status quo.
Self-starter with ability to own projects from initial inquiry to completion.
