AV MEDIA, a. s. became the main technological partner of the SIGNAL light festival that is the most-visited cultural event in the Czech Republic. Its first edition attracted almost 250 000 visitors. 2014 edition will take over the streets of Prague again in October and the admission will be free for all the visitors!
SIGNAL turns the public space of the Czech metropolis into a giant and shining gallery. The festival is looking for unusual attractive Prague venues where it will offer technologically advanced light installations, including many interactive ones. Some of the works have already been successfully presented at light festivals abroad; however, most of the installations are being created for their world premieres at the SIGNAL festival.
AV MEDIA will take care of the magnificent video mapping shows, which captivated every visitor last year. This year, you will be able to admire the video mapping shows in 5 different locations including one of the most popular installations of the last year, Church of St. Ludmila. A lot of more locations will attract you with technologically advanced light installations including numerous interactive projects.
SIGNAL light festival is the last event of CZECH THE LIGHT tour, which is a series of cultural events, when the light art illumined historical towns and cities in the Czech Republic. Its ambition is to inspire the public space and the UNESCO monuments by light art installations, video mapping shows onto iconic Czech architectural landmarks and by „light painting“ workshops.
