From August 2014 to December 2015, AFS will celebrate 100 years since A. Piatt Andrew, the founder of the American Field Service, negotiated with the French Army during World War I to allow American volunteer ambulance drivers to rescue the wounded from the battlefields of France. This initiated a great humanitarian effort that has shaped many aspects of our organization today.
To commemorate this event, which is at the root of our origins, AFS Mezikulturní programy, o.p.s. cordially invites you to Instituto Cervantes where we screen the extraordinary movie „NO“ directed by Pablo Larraín.
We will be honoured by the presence of the Ambassador of Chile in the Czech Republic and we will be presenting the great opportunity to participate in the AFS Global Changemakers Scholarship for 2015.
When: Thursday 15th January 5, 6 p.m.
