CBRE, the global leader in commercial real estate services, has become a partner of the RETAIL SUMMIT 2015 conference to be held on 3 – 4 February 2015 in Prague. Jos Tromp, Head of CEE Research & Consulting in CBRE, will moderate a panel discussion in the Retail Summit and present an exclusive CBRE study of the situation in the retail market. Other participants in the panel discussion will be Pavel Klimeš and Tomáš Beránek, both from CBRE, amongst others.

The Retail Summit 2015 is about searching for new paths. This is the main motto of the conference, which is amongst the largest conferences on this topic in Central Europe. So why search for new paths? Because old methods  are becoming obsolete and may no longer work, while new paths will become a prerequisite for business success.

“Shopping centres are undergoing significant changes. Retail business formats are changing and have an impact on real property and owners, amongst others,” said Pavel Klimeš, CBRE Senior Director Asset Services - Retail. Tomáš Beránek, Head of CBRE High Street Retail and Tenant Representation added: “Not only shopping centres and formats are changing, but even the patterns of shopping behaviour. Omnichannel retail is a significant trend encompassing the interconnection of the online and offline business world. We have exclusive data indicating how the market, business and customers will develop and we are grateful that we can present them in this very significant retail event.

The Retail Summit is the biggest event of its kind in Central Europe. Over the past 20 years, more than 13 thousand entrepreneurs, producers, experts, politicians and journalists from nearly 30 countries have participated in the Retail Summit.
