We will discuss current issues arising from the proposed new "solar tax" in the Czech Republic and the remedies available to foreign investors, both before Czech courts and under international law.
CMS Prague Team will be joined by Guy Pendell, a solicitor advocate from CMS London, who has much experience of commercial disputes and their resolution through litigation, arbitration or alternative dispute resolution, with particular focus on international/cross-border disputes (in particular Central and Eastern Europe) and Ben Holland, a solicitor advocate from CMS London, who works exclusively on energy-related disputes.
Libor Fryzek, Head of Tax Services at Ernst & Young, will explain how the "solar tax" works and how it fits into the current tax system.
Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session, and you will have an opportunity to meet experts on a one-to-one basis.
We hope you will be able to join us.
Please note there is no charge for this seminar.
Presentations will be held in English.
