You are kindly invited to attend a traditional autumn IFRS seminar organised by Deloitte.
Once again you will be provided with the opportunity to learn about the IFRS news, get prepared for the 2012 financial statements and plan the adjustments to be made in your accounting policies for the subsequent period. This year, we have prepared a number of practical examples for your easier understanding of the news and their application in practice.
The seminar is predominantly intended for accountants, economists and financial managers of IFRS projects and also for all of you who want to know more about IFRS.
One-day lectures will be held in Prague, Brno and Ostrava in Czech and will be delivered by our company's experts.
Programme
The goal of the IFRS News 2012 seminar is to provide participants with the information about changes in IFRSs with a special focus on:
New pronouncements:
IFRS 10 – Consolidated Financial Statements;
IFRS 11 – Joint Arrangements;
IFRS 12 – Disclosure of Interests in Other Entities;
IFRS 13 – Fair Value Measurement;
Amendments to other standards and interpretations;
Status of the IFRS endorsement by the EU; and
The ongoing IASB projects and the expected changes in IFRSs in the nearest future.
Some changes relate to financial statements for the period beginning on 1 January 2012. In most cases, earlier application of the amendments that are effective after the period beginning on 1 January 2012 is permitted, ie the amendments may be applied to the financial statements for 2012. Entities are also required to disclose the impact of the application of the approved standards and interpretations before their effective dates in the notes to the financial statements prepared under IFRS.
The seminar is not intended for accounting advisory companies.
