Will the new legislation make business activities easier and result in a more attractive legal environment or, on the contrary, result in legal uncertainty and high costs associated with implementing it in practice?
The new Act on Corporations will have a substantial impact on business activities in the Czech Republic. It puts more emphasis on personal responsibility and attention of all parties (whether they are entrepreneurs, partners or governing bodies) and introduces a number of important changes, including a detailed regulation of rules for corporate governance, a new concept of business group (and more detailed rules for the content of reports on relations between related parties), deregulation of a limited liability company; substantial changes are also to be applied in respect of joint stock companies.
The first seminar, held on 13th November, will bring you a basic summary of the most substantial changes introduced by the new Act on Corporations, the following seminar, held on 4th of December will focus on the specifics of limited liability companies and joint stock companies.
Seminars are free of charge, please confirm your attendance with Renata Mrazova at renata.mrazova@cms-cmck.com
Presentations will be held in Czech.
