UniCredit Bank Czech Republic is a general sponsor of the 12th Art Prague which will take place in Prague from March 18th till March 24th 2013. The art fair presents contemporary art through expositions of individual galleries. At the art fair you can see artworks of recognised and well-established artists but also artworks of the youngest generation.
Please accept our invitation to the 12th year of art fair Art Prague 2013 that will take place in Prague from 18.3. till 24.3. 2013 (Franze Kafka square 3, Prague 1).
The art fair presents contemporary art through expositions of individual galleries. Prague art fair is alongside with the art fair in Budapest the one and only similar event in the central and eastern Europe and it aspires to be ranked among similar important contemporary art fairs such as Arco in Madrid, Frieze Art in London or Art Basel in Basel. The art fair presents every year over 30 galleries mostly from the Czech Republic but also from abroad (Berlin, Lyon, Amsterodam, Freiburg, Bochum). The art fair has already become a sought-after event not only for traditional art lovers (collectors, art historians, students, artists, entrepreneurs, foreign visitors) but also for newcomers who are only acquainting themselves with contemporary art trends.
At the art fair you can see artworks of recognised and well-established artists but also artworks of the youngest generation of artists. To recognise significant artworks from artists of the youngest generation there is always given Art Prague Young Award for the best artist below 35 year of age whose work is exhibited at Art Prague.
