Transfer prices are a hot topic globally as well as in the Czech Republic. The Czech tax authorities are increasingly more knowledgeable about this area and consider the issues arising from transfer pricing an indispensable part of a tax review in (not only) international companies. Therefore, it is necessary for taxpayers to be prepared for more frequent reviews focused on the accuracy of transfer pricing. Conversely, the area of transfer pricing provides new opportunities to taxpayers such as supply chain optimisation, which is of critical importance in the current times of economic recession and instability.
