It is for the thirteenth time that the czech fair of contemporary art, named ART PRAGUE, takes place in the capital city of the Czech republic on the days of the 11th to the 16th of March, 2014. After the success in Kafka's house in the Prague city center last year, visitors will have a chance to see the exhibition in this interesting place again.
Besides the traditional gallery presentation, visitors can look forward to a rich accompanying program including, for example, thematic lectures and discussions. "Nocturne" (13th March, 2014), is an event where the art fair will be open to the public even in the late hours. A new project, "Call For Artists", will offer the possibility of participation for individual artists without gallery representation. As in previous years, the winning artist will receive the "UniCredit Bank ART PRAGUE Young Award“ prize, which will allow him/her to continue their professional development. The winner will be chosen from a fair artist up to 35 years old.
An essential part of Art Prague is its traditional catalog of the work presented. Updated information about the art fair and accompanying programs can be found on the website www.artprague.cz.
You are cordially invited to the art fair opening which takes place in Kafka´s house at the 10th of March 2014 from 6pm
