ACCA in cooperation with the Chamber of Auditors in the Czech Republic would like to invite you to the seminar on Audit and Technology.
Within the seminar Audit and Technology, we plan to present recent Professional Insights ACCA research on Audit and Technology.
The aim of the research is to identify the influence of current and future modern technologies on the work of the auditors and what developments in this area the auditors expect. The research is trying to identify which modern technologies can improve the quality of audit work and simplify the work of auditors. Among other countries, the research was also held in the Czech Republic. A preliminary analysis of results for the Czech Republic and comparison with other countries will be presented at the seminar.
The seminar will be organized in the form of a panel discussion, where we will discuss individual topics covered in the research. The panel discussion outputs should then be incorporated into the report itself. The panel will consist of an IT audit expert, an expert on audit standards, a representative from the Audit Methodology Committee of KAČR and representatives of an audited company. The panel will be led by Andrew Gambier, Head of Audit and Assurance of ACCA, who has analyzed the research results and is working on preparing the Audit and Technology report.
