Contemporary authors, unusual venues and well known personalities: this is the face of a series of public readings - the Literature Night. The project is organized by the Czech Centers in collaboration with the EUNIC cluster Prague (a network of foreign cultural institutes), foreign embassies in the Czech Republic, Representation of the European Commission in Prague and the Labyrint publishing house.
Every year, the Literature Night is held on the eve of the largest book fair in the country – Book World Prague – and this year it will take place in Prague and many other Czech and foreign cities on May 9, 2018.
The project Literature Night has been organized by the Czech Centers since 2006. Six years ago, the Czech Association of Librarians joined the project, and this year the Literature Night will take place in more than 50 cities across the Czech Republic. Moreover, people in more than 30 foreign cities will have the opportunity to participate in the event.
