Anglo-American University’s School of Business Administration invites all who are interested to the next MBA Open Lecture “Decrypting Cryptocurrency”.
The lecture will be hosted by Dr. Dominik Stroukal, the director of Liberalni Institut and the co-author author of the first Czech book on the topic of cryptocurrencies.
About the topic: Bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrency are words being introduced to many’s curiosities and vocabulary while it has received increasingly more attention from the media and governments as it stirs new changes on the global stage. Is it just another bubble or will it become a widespread norm in the coming decades? The lecture will address this question during the lecture along with:
- Pre-bitcoin attempts
- Bitcoin: Decentralized reaction
- A close look into Blockchain.
- Economics and technology of validation: Proof of Work vs. Proof of Stake
- Altcoins: New ideas and scams
- Future outlook: Scaling, forks, energy and other questions
About the lecturer: Dr. Dominik Stroukal is the author of the first Czech book about cryptocurrencies (2015, second edition 2018) “Bitcoin: Money of the Future”. Holding a Ph.D. in Economics and MA in Media Studies, he is the Director of Liberalni Institut and former president of Czech and Slovak Mises Institute. He is a founder and CEO of Bitcoin Consulting and actively lectures at few private universities and high schools in the Czech Republic.
