He has served as an advisor to several human rights and pro-Democracy organizations in Bulgaria, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Cuba, and, as a result of his efforts to support Cuban dissidents in 2001 during a visit to Cuba; Bubeník was detained and jailed by Castro’s regime.

This event is intended for mentors, mentees, alumni and all Equilibrium friends & public. Come to Opero and enjoy the story of Jan Bubeník.
