The aim of the seminar is to acquaint participants with practical aspects of measuring the amount of GHG emissions using real examples. The introductory part of the seminar focuses on the background and assumptions for measuring GHG emissions, including the specification of regulatory requirements and standards used. We will then outline the methods for measuring GHG emissions within the individual scopes. Finally, participants will learn in which areas and how information about their own and clients’ GHG emissions can be used.
This seminar is primarily intended for risk managers, specialists from banks and other financial institutions, who are involved in measuring and monitoring environmental indicators, and staff from sustainability and ESG risk management departments.
The seminar is also beneficial for internal auditors and staff of large companies that calculate their own GHG emissions.
