Strategic Content Management (Website as a Business tool series)

2016-11-24 10:30:00
Company: Amcham
Address: AmCham offices, Dušní 10, Prague 1
Welcome to our third and last workshop from the series Strategic Website Management. If you plan to upgrade your website before the end of this year or go through a major digital revamp in 2017, this is a series you shouldn’t miss. The last workshop of the series is focused on filling the website with the content.

Our series for this autumn is closing with a workshop on Strategic Content Management. During the first workshop in September we reviewed the thinking behind setting up a tender for a new website. In October we met the potential supplier, who delivered an overview of website content management systems (CMS) available on the market, including the pluses and minuses of each platform for small and large companies.

Now it is time to imagine that you chose your platform and you have already built the technical skeleton behind your website. How will you fill it in? What type of content will you use to communicate with your public: text, visuals – pictures, infographics, videos? How often will you share new content on your website? How will you secure the fluid transfer of content among your all communication channels, including your social media? And, mainly, how will you measure what matters in order to know what works for your business from the point of view of content management?

Our selected guest will guide you through yet another 90-minute workshop focused on Strategic Content Management. Michal Mládek of Dobrý web, a Czech consultancy and training agency focused on digital strategies and online marketing, will show you how to set up your content management strategy and he will guide you through the steps of content generation, distribution and measurement. Michal is available to take your questions also prior to the workshop under the discussion available here on the AmCham LinkedIn group
