AAA AUTO brand awarded “Symbol of success“ plaque for 25 years of successful operation on the market

The formal announcement of the 100 admired companies in the Czech Republic took place in the French Restaurant at Obecní dům yesterday. These awards have been announced by the CZECH TOP 100 Association for twenty years now. Alice Punch, Chief HR Officer and representative of the AURES Holdings Company, also attended and accepted the “Symbol of success” plaque for a quarter of a century of successful operation on the market, on behalf of the AAA AUTO brand.

The AAA AUTO brand will clock up its 26th year on the market later this year, and in that time it has served over 2 million satisfied customers and now sells over 75,000 vehicles every year. “This award marks the culmination of our celebration this year of 25 years of successful operation on the used car market,“ said Karolína Topolová, managing director of the AURES Holdings Company, which operates the international AAA AUTO car dealership network. “We are no longer simply a used car dealer, but also a software and technology company offering a wide range of additional services, innovative products and IT solutions. We want customers to see us as the most innovative company in our sector in Central Europe,“ Topolová added in relation to the recent introduction of the AuresLab innovation laboratory where the group has concentrated the development of all innovations for the other brands owned by AURES Holdings.

During the first quarter of the year and early April, customers of the AAA AUTO car dealership network purchased over 20,000 vehicles, and in March the group exceeded the threshold of 7,000 cars sold in one calendar month for the first time. The best-selling used car this year is, as usual, the Škoda Octavia, followed by the Škoda Fabia and the Volkswagen Passat. During the first quarter of this year, interest rose most markedly compared to the same period last year in MPV vehicles (30%) and SUV vehicles (23%), focusing on the Dacia (53%), Nissan (52%) and Kia (31%) marques. Vehicles with petrol engines were the choice for 52% of customers, while 85% opted for an automatic gearbox and the most popular colour was grey.

The international AAA AUTO car dealership network currently has 44 branches in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary and has up to 14,000 vehicles on offer on these four markets. The company regularly features in the top half of the CZECH TOP 100 ratings. Last year, after winning the national round of the European Business Awards competition, it advanced to the Europe-wide final round, where it gained 2nd place. This year it was presented with the prestigious Superbrands Award for the second year running. The award has been presented in the Czech Republic for the five years following its revival and has been presented worldwide every year since 1994. The goal of the award is to identify brands with an excellent standing on the local market. Only brands that pass through a multi-phase evaluation, which includes a consumer survey by the GfK Agency, are presented with a Superbrands Award.
