Clifford Chance advises J&T REAL ESTATE CZ on the sale of Rustonka in Prague

Clifford Chance advised J&T REAL ESTATE CZ in connection with one of the largest real estate transactions of this year so far – the sale of the office center Rustonka in Prague's Karlín district. The new owners are an investment trust fund established by Hana Alternative Asset Management and White Star Real Estate.
The office center was developed by J&T REAL ESTATE CZ and is located just adjacent to the Invalidovna metro station. The property is fully occupied and comprises 40,000 square meters of leasable area in a complex of three buildings. It was constructed in phases from 2017 to 2019 and has been awarded the prestigious LEED GOLD green building certification. The tenants are a mix of reputed international companies operating in various fields of industry, including the internet giant Amazon. With the complex are several retail units, occupied by two restaurants, auto showrooms, a wine bar, and other shops.
The Clifford Chance team advising on the sale was led by Emil Holub, real estate partner widely recognised as one of the top real estate lawyers in the Czech Republic together with a senior associate Aneta Disman (formerly Sosnovcová) acting as executive lawyer. The team further comprised of junior associate Ondřej Dolenský.
