Eversheds Sutherland significantly strengthens its transaction team with two senior lawyers

In November 2019, the international law firm Eversheds Sutherland expanded its team by two senior lawyers, Radek Váňa and Michal Hrabovský. Both will significantly strengthen the international and local M&A team.

Radek Váňa's career has spanned more than 20 years, combining the practice of an attorney in leading international law firms and a transactional in-house executive lawyer. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, he was the General Counsel of SAZKA Group, an international lottery group. Before that, he worked for Allen & Overy in Prague, London and Amsterdam, and as the international legal counsel at KAZ Minerals PLC in London and Almaty, Kazakhstan. At Eversheds Sutherland, Radek will focus on further developing its transaction practice (M&A) and will head the Russian Desk. A graduate of the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague, in addition to Czech, he is fluent in English and Russian.

Michal Hrabovský has 12 years of legal practice and will build on his previous success in the law firms of Weil, Gotshal & Manges and bpv Braun Partners. He has been repeatedly recommended by the Legal 500 rating agency as an M&A expert. In addition to transaction advisory, he will be responsible for developing the competition law practice in the Prague and Bratislava offices. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cambridge and Masaryk University of Brno. In addition to Czech, he is fluent in English.
